Supervising contractor work on site and ensuring appropriate health and safety requirements are met
Supporting the recruitment, induction and development of maintenance team members
Overseeing Test and Tag requirements and other relevant property compliance activities
Providing practical advice and support when significant or unexpected maintenance issues arise
Working collaboratively across our Property, Operations and site teams to find better ways of delivering safe, effective facilities services.
What you’ll bring:

Strong knowledge of building codes and relevant compliance requirements
Recent experience managing contractors and external suppliers
Experience supporting maintenance or facilities across multiple sites
Experience with smart building technology would be an advantage
Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to make sound decisions and influence outcomes
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels
Strong organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
Confidence using technology and systems as part of your day-to-day work
A current New Zealand driver’s licence and the flexibility to travel regularly between Oceania sites from Hawke’s Bay to Christchurch
An understanding of aged care or similarly regulated environments would be beneficial.
