Why our people love working here
-
One of my favourite things is working with our new residents - finding out their preferences and helping them if they have special diets. It's really rewarding being involved in changing the impression of food in Care Centres. Working within the menu there's still scope for creativity.

I have been doing this job for over 10 years and the best thing about it is building a good relationship with the residents, and the with the other staff on the team. The highlight for me is when you are looking after a resident and they compliment you and tell you how caring you are - those kinds of positive comments help you go the extra mile for the whole day.

Ultimately my goal is to make sure the residents are happy. It could be things such as helping them organise a get together, or small things like helping them use technology. One of my favourite parts of the job is helping new residents settle in, building rapport with them and with their families, so that they feel comfortable coming to me as a point of contact.
