ICT Project Manager

The role
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our ICT team in our Auckland CBD office. In this role, you’ll drive the delivery of complex ICT projects alongside the rest of the team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead and manage the delivery of ICT projects
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration
- Champion and drive the adoption of best practices in project management
- Support and contribute to the leadership of transformation projects alongside a Programme Manager.
- Prepare and guide the ICT department for strategic transitions, positioning it to adapt to evolving technology landscapes and needs.
What you’ll bring:
- 3-5+ years’ experience in a project management delivering ICT transformation projects
- Demonstrated capability to lead and oversee a project team
- Experience with managing a diverse group of stakeholders
- Effective communication skills – the ability to adapt your communication style for differing audiences and situations.
- Experience in working in an Agile, Scrum and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and software development lifecycles
- Exposure to Risk Management and Quality Assurance Control
- PMP certification or PRINCE2
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
