With over 30 villages across Aotearoa and a commitment to delivering resident-led, personalised care, we’re seeking a passionate and strategic National Clinical Education Manager to shape the future of clinical education in our villages nationwide.
About the Role
This pivotal leadership role will drive the design, delivery, and evaluation of our clinical education programs across all Oceania sites. You'll play a key part in enhancing clinical capability, supporting exceptional resident outcomes, and empowering our care teams through lifelong learning and professional development.
You’ll lead our national education strategy, support the integration of internationally qualified and graduate nurses, and champion a culture of excellence in aged care.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the development and execution of Oceania’s national clinical education strategy
- Align training initiatives with clinical excellence, quality improvement, and aged care standards
- Design and deliver impactful education programs, including on-site coaching and national learning initiatives
- Champion adult learning principles and culturally responsive, person-centred teaching practices
- Support clinical teams through mentoring, career development, and lifelong learning initiatives
- Oversee the PDRP and collaborate with tertiary providers to support workforce capability and clinical placements
- Drive innovation through research and development projects that enhance care outcomes
- Promote compliance, workplace safety, and staff wellbeing across the clinical workforce
- Explore external education services and partnerships to create revenue opportunities
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in clinical education within healthcare or aged care settings
- Demonstrated success leading national or organisation-wide training programs
- Expertise in adult learning, clinical coaching, and workforce development
- Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality improvement, and research
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Current NZ Registered Nurse Annual Practising Certificate
- Relevant adult teaching qualification
- Commitment to culturally safe, equitable, and person-centred care
- Strategic mindset with strong organisational and time management skills
