Enrolled Nurse
Make a meaningful difference every day, delivering quality care and helping our residents live well.
At Oceania, we're committed to delivering exceptional care and creating communities where our residents feel supported, valued and connected.
We're looking for a compassionate and motivated Enrolled Nurse to join our team at Atawhai Village in Napier. This is an opportunity to put your nursing skills into practice, build meaningful relationships with residents and their whānau, and be part of a supportive team that genuinely cares.
What you'll be doing
Working alongside our Registered Nurses and wider care team, you'll play an important role in delivering safe, person-centred care that supports the wellbeing, independence and quality of life of our residents.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering quality nursing care within your Enrolled Nurse scope of practice, under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Supporting residents with their individual care plans, promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing.
Monitoring residents' health and promptly communicating any changes or concerns to the Registered Nurse.
Building positive, trusting relationships with residents, their whānau and colleagues.
Working collaboratively with our clinical and care teams to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and contributing to a safe, supportive care environment.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who brings both clinical capability and a genuine passion for caring for others.
You'll bring:
Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a valid Annual Practising Certificate.
A commitment to delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
A collaborative approach and willingness to support others as part of a team.
Good organisational skills, initiative and attention to detail.
A commitment to ongoing learning, professional development and continuous improvement.
Experience in aged care would be valuable, but we're equally interested in your attitude, commitment to care and willingness to learn.
