Registered Nurse

We're looking for an Enrolled Nurse to join our clinical team at Awatere in Hamilton. Working alongside our Registered Nurses and wider care team, you'll help residents live with dignity, independence and purpose in a supportive environment where you'll be valued for the difference you make every day.
What you'll be doing
As an Enrolled Nurse, you'll provide nursing care to residents with stable and predictable health needs under the direction of a Registered Nurse. You'll:
Deliver high-quality nursing care that promotes residents' wellbeing and independence.
Monitor residents' health and promptly report any changes to the Registered Nurse.
Administer delegated nursing interventions within your scope of practice.
Work closely with Healthcare Assistants to provide coordinated, person-centred care.
Build positive relationships with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Champion safe practice and support a culture of continuous learning.
What you'll bring
We're looking for someone who genuinely cares about people and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
You'll have:
A current New Zealand Enrolled Nurse Annual Practising Certificate.
Experience working as an Enrolled Nurse, ideally within aged care (although this isn't essential).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A caring, compassionate and resident-focused approach.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to work collaboratively while confidently managing your own workload.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and delivering high-quality clinical care.
