Registered Nurse
As a Casual Registered Nurse with Oceania, you will provide clinical support across our care communities throughout the Christchurch region. Working within a nurse-led service, you'll have the opportunity to practise at full scope while bringing flexibility, expertise, and compassionate care to our residents. Your clinical judgment and leadership will play a key role in delivering high-quality care, supporting care teams, and building meaningful relationships with residents and their families across multiple sites.
What You'll Be Doing:
Providing high-quality nursing care and clinical support across Oceania care communities in the Christchurch region
Coordinating the daily care needs of residents while inspiring and supporting care teams
Completing comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions, both independently and collaboratively
Making sound clinical decisions and demonstrating professional autonomy in resident care
Building strong relationships with residents, their families, and allied health professionals
Providing leadership, guidance, and clinical support to care staff and team members
Adapting quickly to different care environments while maintaining exceptional standards of care
What You'll Bring:
A current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate
A commitment to delivering excellent resident-centred care
Previous experience using clinical systems
InterRAI experience (desirable but not essential)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management and organisational abilities
The ability to coach, mentor, and support other team members
Flexibility to work across multiple Oceania sites in the Christchurch region on a casual, as-needed basis
The ability to work a variety of rostered shifts
Job Details:
Competitive hourly rate of $37.38 to $53.22 based on experience
Fortnightly roster includes weekends and night shifts
