We’re looking for a Procurement Business Partner to join our Corporate Office in Auckland CBD. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to procurement transformation initiatives while supporting day-to-day procurement activities across the organisation.
Working closely with the Head of Procurement, you’ll help embed best-practice procurement processes, support the rollout and optimisation of the Esker Procure-to-Pay (P2P) system, and build strong relationships across the business to support procurement capability uplift.
What you’ll do
Support procurement transformation initiatives, including supplier engagement, reporting, governance, and process improvement activities
Assist with the rollout, onboarding, training, and ongoing optimisation of the Esker P2P system
Provide first-line support to system users and help drive system adoption and compliance across the business
Support sourcing activities including RFQs, supplier engagement, and CAPEX procurement processes
Provide guidance to stakeholders on procurement policies, systems, and processes
Assist with supplier onboarding, contract administration, and maintaining supplier and contract data integrity
Support reporting, analytics, and procurement insights generation
Build effective working relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and act as a trusted point of contact for procurement support
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the ongoing development of procurement capability across the business
What you’ll bring
At least 3 years’ experience in procurement, sourcing, or commercial roles
Experience supporting sourcing activities and supplier engagement
Exposure to procurement systems, with P2P system experience highly regarded
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across BAU and project work
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and confidence using AI tools
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
Experience in a transformation or project environment is advantageous
Relevant tertiary qualification in business, commerce, supply chain, or a related discipline preferred
MCIPS qualification preferred
