Make the Difference Every Day
At Oceania, we’re passionate about making the difference in every task, every challenge, every day. Here, your expertise becomes part of something bigger - creating retirement and care experiences that truly transform lives.
We work together, look out for each other, and take genuine pride in what we deliver. If you’re detail-driven, proactive, and passionate about learning and development, this is your opportunity to join a team that values collaboration, creativity, and care.
About the Role
We’re seeking a Learning and Development Business Partner to join our national L&D team in early 2026. If you’re excited by change, love finding better ways of doing things, and take pride in delivering high-quality outcomes, this role offers the chance to make a lasting impact.
As a key contributor to our learning strategy, you’ll coordinate training programs, support vocational learners, maintain our Learning Management System (LMS), and manage a wide range of enquiries and administrative processes. You’ll be supported by a leader who values progress, and collaboration. They’ll back you to deliver, welcome your ideas, and help you grow as we transform the way we work.
This role offers flexibility, including the ability to work from home, along with regular office days to support collaboration and connection.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinating mandatory training, development programmes, and staff education requirements
- Managing a high volume of emails, enquiries, and scheduling with accuracy and professionalism
- Acting as the administrative contact for external partners such as First Aid providers, Careerforce, MBIE, and NZQA
- Supporting Careerforce trainees and contributing as a Registered Assessor (or training towards becoming one)
- Managing clinical placement logistics with tertiary education providers
- Maintaining and updating the Learning Management System (LMS) and staff training records
- Supporting the delivery of training programs, inductions, and workshops
- Ensuring high-quality documentation, clear processes, and organised systems
- Exercising discretion and judgement when handling sensitive information
What You’ll Bring
- Excellent computer literacy and confidence working with systems, data, and processes
- Strong organisational skills: able to prioritise, respond promptly, and keep workflows tidy and transparent
- High attention to detail, with pride in producing accurate, polished work
- Ability to take initiative, work independently, and cope with ambiguity when required
- A delivery-focused mindset and openness to feedback
- Experience with LMS platforms or other complex systems (desirable)
- Experience in a healthcare or health-related environment (desirable)
- Relevant qualifications in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Education or similar (desirable but not a requirement)
Why Join Us?
