The Role:
Our facility Eldon Lodge in Paraparaumu is looking for a full-time Charge Nurse to join their dedicated team
What You'll Be Doing:
- Playing a key role in the development, implementation and evaluation of all clinical care processes in accordance with Oceania policies, protocols and guidelines for care.
- Providing effective clinical leadership as well as undertake RN responsibilities and duties in the provision of quality clinical care.
- Leading the nursing care team in a designated service area to provide excellent clinical care to residents & their families
What You'll Bring:
- A current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate
- Previous experience in a RN role, with at least 2 years within an aged care setting
- A commitment to delivering excellent service
- Excellent customer relationship management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Capability to train clinical staff at all levels and to communicate clinical information to non-clinical staff.
- Demonstrated applied understanding of relevant legislation, codes of practice, standards.
- Commitment to ongoing learning.
