The role
Our team at Green Gables in Nelson is looking for a part time Receptionist. This is a unique role, where you'll also support the café front-of-house. The hours of work for the role are 9:00am to 3:30pm on a Sunday.
What you’ll be doing:
- Being the welcoming face of our business
- Providing excellent administrative support
- Supporting the café front-of-house with customer service and coffee making (barista training will be provided)
- Ensuring the smooth running of service delivery
- Delivering an exceptional experience for all residents and guests
- Delivering professional customer service and administrative assistance in a style that brings calm to a busy environment.
What you’ll bring:
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar position
- An ability to problem solve effectively as you will be dealing with all manner of people and queries from visitors, contractors, residents and their families
- Experience with administration, accounts payable, petty cash and suppliers
- Excellent computer skills. In particular, with the Microsoft suite
- An ability to build rapport, provide assistance and treat residents with respect
- Eligibility to work in NZ.
