We are looking for a Risk and Compliance Analyst to join our Oceania team who are dedicated to delivering exceptional and innovative care and hospitality services that delight our residents. Reporting to the Chief Legal and Risk Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in assisting with legal compliance and regulatory matters across Oceania’s villages.
What you’ll be doing:
- Ensure village policies and procedures are current and being practiced.
- Manage the annual village AGM and statutory reporting processes for ~35 villages.
- Manage the three yearly RVA audit programme.
- Provide advice to Village Managers and National Operations Managers on compliance issues.
- Assist the Senior Legal Counsel to provide advice to Village Managers on legal issues.
- Assist Village Managers and the National Operations Managers to resolve resident issues to avoid further escalation of complaints.
- Support the Risk Manager to ensure that risk and compliance requirements are embedded into Village Risk registers, policies, and practices.
- Support the Risk Manager on assurance and reporting over compliance requirements and complaints management.
- Assist the Senior Legal Counsel to provide training to management across Villages.
- Manage Oceania’s residential tenancy agreements, including ensuring that rental agreements are in place and the provisions of the Residential Tenancies Act are being complied with.
What you’ll bring:
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Proven time management and organisational skills to juggle deadlines and tasks.
- Confidence to present to large groups
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- High level of customer service and communication skills and effectively communicate at all levels.
