Senior Accounts Payable Officer

About the role

This is a full-time role based in our Support Office in the CBD.

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will be an integral part of the Accounts Payable team, working with a resilient attitude to ensure the efficient operation of all aspects of the Accounts Payable function. This will include:

  • Completion of Supplier Statement Reconciliations;
  • Entry and review of Support Office and Facility invoices;
  • Review, checking and posting journals;
  • Review of invoice coding, GST requirements and compliance with delegated authority policy;
  • Employee Expense review and processing;
  • Respond to supplier queries;
  • Processing, managing One off Payment Requests;
  • Assisting in other accounting/finance support tasks as required;

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have relevant Accounts Payable experience, be highly organised and able to work comfortably with tight deadlines, and love working both independently and as part of a team. You will bring:

  • 3+ years' accounts payable / receivable experience
  • General ledger experience
  • The ability to work in a fast paced and high volume environment
  • The ability to maintain high attention to detail and accuracy, even when under pressure
  • Passion for delivering great service to stakeholders
  • A versatile team player with a can-do attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using D356 is preferred but not essential
