We are seeking a motivated Administrator to join our team at Awatere in Hamilton. This is a full time fixed term position.

Reporting directly to the Business and Care Manager, you will be responsible for first impressions and administrative functions ensuring the smooth running of service delivery. You will deliver an exceptional experience for all residents and guests.

We are looking for team players that are skilled in professional customer service and can bring style and calm to a busy and demanding role.

Key Requirements

  • 3 years' experience in a customer facing or similar position
  • Experience with payroll and accounts payable, petty cash and suppliers
  • Engage with residents to provide administrative assistance
  • Ensure that all resident issues/complaints are escalated promptly and completely
  • Answer and direct general enquiries regarding sales, accounts and services
  • Eligibility to work in NZ
  • Excellent computer skills

We are seeking a Casual Activities Assistant at Heretaunga in Upper Hutt.

As an Activities Assistant you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Diversional Therapist to create and implement a fun and varied activities programme for our residents.

You will be passionate about understanding residents' activities needs and encouraging them to take part of these programmes. You will also understand the importance of following our company policies and procedures to create a safe environment for our residents.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in planning and coordinating activities
  • Great people skills with empathy for the elderly
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • A vibrant and energetic personality
  • A clean NZ drivers' licence
  • Flexible multitasking skills
  • The ability to work on a rostered shift basis
