Registered Nurse - Duart

Duart Rest Home and Hospital in Havelock North is seeking 2 Full Time (32 hours per week) Registered Nurses with New Zealand experience to be part of our great team. We pride ourselves on being a strong team that provides an excellent experience for our residents and their families at all times.

Working as part of the clinical team our Registered Nurses inspire others while coordinating the daily care needs to our residents. We provide excellent care that reflects our resident's individuality and their right to choice, respect, and dignity.

You will bring your clinical knowledge and passion to enhance the lives of our residents and build sound relationships with their families. This may be from working at other aged care facilities in New Zealand or from working at a DHB and you are looking for a change of environment.

Key Requirements:

  • A current New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate
  • A minimum of 2 years New Zealand nursing experience (aged care preferred but not essential)
  • Commitment to excellent service delivery
  • Confidence in physical assessments
  • InterRai experience desirable
  • Previous experience using clinical systems
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to manage your time effectively
  • The ability to coach and mentor other staff
  • The flexibility to work on a rostered shift basis

Healthcare Assistant - Duart

Duart Rest Home and Hospital in Havelock North is seeking three new permanent Healthcare Assistants to be part of our care team.

We pride ourselves on the excellent experience we offer to our residents and their families so if this sounds like you come and join our great team. The hours will be 32 per week with work on 1 day of the weekend required. There are options for AM (645-1500) and PM (1445-2300) rosters which we will discuss with you.

You will have the natural ability to build rapport with residents, staff and visitors. Your kindness and caring nature will shine through as you will bring smile to their faces while ensuring our residents needs are met, while providing exceptional care.
