Kitchen & Café Assistant - Meadowbank

Opportunity for someone who has a passion for customer service and enjoys working in a busy and varied environment to join a fun team with sociable hours!

This is full time role at our Meadowbank Village and Care Centre, 148 Meadowbank Road, Auckland.

In this role you will be assisting with meal preparation (mostly for morning and afternoon tea) and general kitchen/café duties and be passionate about preparing food to a high-quality standard. For lunch and the evening meal, you will be assisting our healthcare team in serving our residents, ensuring they have a wonderful dining experience.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • The ability to work on a rostered shift basis
  • Great communication skills
  • Highly organised
  • Eye for detail
  • Ability to follow set cleaning procedures
  • Baking skills preferred but not essential
  • NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
